In this case study we're going to meet Sinan Bokesoy, who has got a background in electronics engineering and computer music. He comes from Turkey and in the last couple of years he has been working with multimedia and interaction design. Last year he made a project "Tales of Future", where the sound installation part of it is named "1city 1001vibrations". The project also included a concert where Sinan Bokesoy and other artists together with two KUKA robotic arms was creating robotic music. Vive Les Robots! talked in september 2011 to him on his robotic music project.

Introduction to Sinan Bokesoy
"I have a degree in electronics engineering but then I have studied computer music at University of Paris8 with Prof. H. Vaggione. During the last decade I had intensive activities in computer music research, composition and performance based in Paris around the world. Now I am living in Buyukada, a small island close to Istanbul. During the last couple of years I have focused on multimedia and interaction design, and new instrument development for performance applications, where technology and artistic creations meet at various levels. I am always happy when I find the chance to realize a project within this multidisciplinary approach. And with the project "Tales of Future" which took place as part of Istanbul2010 Capital of European Culture activities, I was lucky to find significant international and local support to realize one of my dreams involving a robot inside my creations".
